Korpikoski is still here though for some god awful reason. Probably gets into the next game just out of respect.

Gulutzan said yesterday that all the PTOs will get in one of the last two games. Since Korpikoski isn't playing tonight, he should be in against Vancouver tomorrow.

If the Flames lacked D, Barbeiro might have been an interesting option. Best comparable in recent history would by Raphael Diaz, although not quite as good offensively, but with potential.

Those lamenting the loss of Agostino wanted him in Stockton leading the Heat in scoring again. Him being on waivers does not make him available for the role we wanted him for.

One guy was claiming that we 'over-cooked' Agostino in the AHL.
Throwing him back would have burned him.

Yes, wanting the AHL team to be decent because we feel winning is important to development is silly.

It looks like we could have four former first round picks in Stockton this year. I know that where you were drafted really doesn't matter anymore, but those are the guys that need to be getting tons of ice time, plus other strong prospects like Mangiapane. Not saying there wasn't room for a guy like Agostino, bu Flames strategy seems clear.

You would think so, but they keep a coach that plays guys like Raymond over those prospects.

I thought winning was important to development? Raymond had 15 points in 15 games.
Really don't think Raymond hurt Klimchuk's goal total for those 15 games. Who knows though, maybe he would have potted his 4th of the year during that time.

I was pointing out the difference in what the Flames appear to want and their coach is doing. With a little reading comprehension you would have been able to understand that.

I'm sure they don't want the coaches in playing Raymond for 20+ minutes a night, but if any kid who can't beat out a demoted and demoralized Raymond for ice time in the AHL, doesn't deserve that ice.

He holds the NHL record for most first round on-stage draft appearances before age 20.

"Edmonton-thinker" sounds like a paradox.

Speaking of Raymond, wasn't he on a tryout or something? Has he been let go yet?

Not on a try out. Signed an actual NHL deal with Anaheim

That's right, so did he get demoted yet? Really hope not for the curse sake.
