Default UFC 64: Anderson Silva

Holy moly, Silva just dominated one of the more dominating fighters in the UFC. Franklin should come back and train harder and smarter, but he looked totally lost in Silva's clinch.. just lost. Decent card, glad to see Sherk get the lighweight title as well.

God damn Franklin just got OWNED. He just kept eating Silvas freakshow knees in the clinch.

I picked Silva to win.. but I NEVER thought I would see Rich Franklin get dominated like that.

Wowww

I've never seen a striker like Anderson Silva in MMA.

.
Exactly!

I turned to my buddies before the fight and told them Silva is going to take it..but I never thought he would make Franklin look like Chris Leben. Those strikes are so precise and articulated and such power behind them for such a lanky fellow. So impressed with him.

I was really, really surprised. Franklin needed to clinch and throw his own knees, but he seemed to just let Silva do it all.

And that broken nose was pretty nasty to look at.

I guess you can only lead with your face so many times. Franklin has no defence ,he is a scrapper.

I forgot all about it ,what happened in the other fights?

Florian deserved to be pushed off his highchair. I like Sherk but can he stay at that weight?

I wrastled with Mike 960 Rogers once. Lasted 41 seconds.
I was 115,he was 165 and playing with the Centennials.

Great to see, I picked Silva as well, but figured he might get a decision. Even then I wouldn't have put money on it... Yes Sherk can stay at that weight. When he was fighting at 170, he had to eat over 4000 calories a day just to make 170, this is according to an interview he had last week.. He had trouble just keeping himself at 170... Can't forget he's only like 5'5... Sherk was meant to fight in the lightweight division. Glad to see him get the title.. I also picked him to win however I figured he'd destroy florian by the 3rd round. I'm more impressed with Florian after this fight.. Apparently Hughes said he would come up in weight if Franklin lost.. That could be interesting.. He might as well, because St.Pierre is going take his title shortly...
