Economics Teacher: Treliving? Treliving? Treliving?
Simone: Um, he's in New York. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Brad and Lewis at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.
Economics Teacher: Thank you, Simone.
Simone: No problem whatsoever.

For those who are fretting about Treliving going there (versus Gross coming here) - why would you not go to New York if you could?
It's stinks (literally) and is crowded as hell and everyone is secretly depressed because they can't afford to live in anything bigger than a shoe box.
Because you have a team and an organizational operation to manage in Calgary, whereas an agent and player have infinitely more flexibility???
Meh. The agent has more than one client as well, and the player has less access to travel personnel. And Treliving can manage just fine long distance for a day or two.
This shows a commitment to the player.

There won't be anymore cuts or assignments before tonights game, which means everyone in Calgary is working with GG this morning.
Any signings that might happen have to wait for Johnny anyway. What does Brad have to do in Calgary that's more important than getting Gaudreau signed?
Also, if you don't trust your team to handle the day-to-day operations for 24 hours while you run to NYC to sign your top forward, you've got problems.

Who cares, what does that have to do with you posing the question like which one of us joe blows wouldn't want to go for a nice little vacay / stroll in NYC.
Not that there's anything wrong with Tree going, but it's the end of training camp and he's making a ton of roster decisions. You pose the question like "who wouldn't want to take a long Sunday drive in the mountains"?
