I honestly can't see Janko making the team. Why not give him 20 minutes a night in Stockton for a bit? Especially when you have guys like Hamilton and already have Stajan that are more suited for 4th line roles.

I believe he meant that Wotherspoon would survive the next round of cuts, not necessarily make the team.

Yes.

If the plan is to be down to 9 defencemen on Monday, you have to assume it will be the 6 vets plus Wotherspoon, Kulak and one of the other guys. Grossmann probably has the edge on being the 9th man just because, like Higgins, he's on a PTO, so they'll give him every chance to earn a contract.
