Gaudreauvertime, there are too many posts between this thread and past threads for me to look through, but would it be fair to say you believe $8M is "fair market value" for Gaudreau?

Not really. He got his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law, but he immediately became a player agent before getting into hockey operations and other hockey management positions. He's basically been involved with hockey from day one.

According to the poll from the previous thread, he voted $7.25M-$7.375M - which is strange. The way he acts make sure it seem like he wants to give Gaudreau much more.

People are now attacking the messenger just because they don't like the message. It's not hard to be a really big fan of Gaudreau, so it's easy to see why G-time is a fan, maybe too much of a fan. I could easily troll any number of you into getting pissy when protecting a player on this team because you're all Flames homers (myself included).
I find it funny that there are those who say G-time is posting too much or what polls he voted on or whatever, because I don't think anyone who's counting the number of posts of another person is really in a position to brag about how cool you are or how loser another person is. You're both losers and probably virgins, lol

So in the spirit of discussion, I would much rather read what a Gaudreau-homer has to say because maybe it provides some insight as to what Gaudreau and his agent thinks in terms of wanting 8million or whatever, than having to read 50 people go on about buddy posting too much.

I can't believe I'm going to wade into the murky waters that is this thread but maybe King knows the are currently far apart in terms of AAV but is certain that a deal will get done because he's given Burke/Treliving permission to give Johnny his ask after a certain date. Who knows, maybe Johnny's ask has come down to 7 point something and Treliving wants to squeeze a little bit more out of him but will ultimately cave by a certain date. Pure speculation but that's all any of us has right now. No one here is privy to the inner workings of the negotiation, looking at you Gaudreauvertime.

Also, the board counts people's posts, no one is doing it themselves, even the vergiest of virgins. Like the majority of your posts it's rude, abrasive and wrong.

Took the words right out of my mouth. The point of these forums are to engage in discussion and provide varying perspectives and insights. Debates and arguing/discussing points about the topic is all part of it. Seeing the same complaints about a poster and their views for two days is ridiculous and childish.

I agree with you in principle, but it's simply tiresome and annoying seeing the same poster imposing their same view over and over and over again. A few days, ok. Even a week or two. But it's gotten equally ridiculous and childish that he just can't let it go and seems intent on convincing everyone they're wrong.
tl;dr: we're all a bunch of overgrown children
