I guess you're right, there is no evidence to suggest that the two parties aren't far apart. I must have just made that all up in my head. Silly me. I'm sure we'll see a deal tomorrow.

He contradicts himself that was my point. I believe they are very far apart today. I struggle with any assurances of future events because that's all we have been hearing from Calgary management. Especially when they are "far apart". Like calgaryblood said, he may have been trying to keep everything calm, like we've been seeing all summer.
Yet here we are.

Wasn't this suppose to be priority number 1. Hmmm funny way of showing it. 2 weeks from the season and no movements. Nothing to show for negotiating because there hasn't been any for weeks.
I really don't what the popular concensus is Treliving, Gaudreau and his agent are all to blame. Nothing but pig headed attitudes on both sides.
