My prediction is Hamilton is our 4th line center and Jankowski spends a good portion of the year being our number one center in Stockton. Still being patient with his development.

Anyone have a clip of that last huge save by Johnson? I missed it.

THE PK for forwards. He was mister everything for the Friars last year. Been an excellent defensive player for most of his four years in College.

Yes he was. He was heavily depended on for PK and every F/O situation.

Bouma and Hamilton both having great games. I think Ferlands a career call up. He just hasn't been the same since the 15 playoffs. He's shown flashes but that's it.

Could Janko be a top line winger rather then a centre? or would that be limiting his abilities defensively as he wouldn't have the responsibility of a centre?

As I posted yesterday

Gaudreau - Monahan - Shinkaruk/Chiasson
Tkachuk - Bennett - Brouwer
Stajan - Backlund - Frolik
Bouma - Jankowski - Ferland

Nice - Bouma-Jankowski-F. Hamilton would be a solid 4th line, with Bouma and Jankowski on PK.

Exactly what I want to see

(though I think Jankowski will spend some time in Stockton first)

Seriously? I thought Ferly has looked good for the most part tonight.... I mean, its the first game of the preseason for him and your ready to call him a career call up? Even though he was full time with the big club last season? That makes absolutely no sense to me.

With Gaudreau and Tkachuk on our left side long term it wouldn't make sense to move him to wing. His skill set is so very "center" though, so I think it'd be a step backwards.

Gulutzan's systems don't look so great today. Longer passes and guys standing at the red line, a lot of dumping the puck too.

I variance of opinions on Ferland is amazing.

I don't know how anyone could call him a career call-up. I think he's been one of the best forwards tonight.

Not bad - I like the look of this lineup for the most part. What would your thoughts be on playing Janko on the wing with Backs & Frolik instead? Based on what I've seen so far in the preseason, he would be a better fit on that line then Stajan.

Given his performance over the last two games, I would have Freddie Hamilton in there as well, either on the fourth line or as the 14th forward.

I think Hamilton makes the team ahead of Jankowski. I think Jankowski only makes the team out of camp if Backlund and/or Monahan are unable to go for the opening game.

Because we've seen him for more than just tonight?

Don't know who has said career call up, but certainly don't see anything more than 4th liner in him. Poor offensive instincts. Defensively he's just okay.

Ferland has been much better than Bouma today.
