Yeah I just looked it up in the CPHL history tab. No idea who that guy was. But then again, I only joined CP in Aug 2005 and CPHL in July 2006.

It got to the point after I lost Theodore and Belfour to injuries that i offered to trade him Yan Danis and a 2nd for Chechmanek with the clause that if he wanted Chechmanek back after the playoffs he could send me back the 2nd for him. So basically I would have given him a solid goaltending prospect for a 1 month loan of Chechmanek but he said no still.

Well I can see why he'd turn down that deal initially...but the Michalek deal makes no sense to me. Still he should have had Cechmanek offed to someone on deadline day when he had more value than he was going to have for the rest of his CPHL days.

Well seeing he has been one of the top goaltenders in the AHL the past few years, yes he is a solid goaltending prospect.....Similar numbers on a much weaker team when compared to Josh Harding who you would "consider" moving for a guy like Kovalchuk .
