On occasion yeah. But we know these are clearly the two best teams, only injuries will prevent this matchup and that's a good thing since it'd be an amazing game. A Baltimore-Houston AFC title game would be tragic.

Oh Cleveland.

Game was there for the taking, but they are using back-up kicker. Misses 3 FGs in regulation.

Except for Ravens and Texans fans that is. You really think the league is well served with yet another Broncos - Pats AFCCG?

Absolutely. You don't want the potential highest quality game? It'll be a letdown if we don't get it, they are so clearly the two best teams. Denver with one of the great defenses ever, New England with the greatest coach. Sign me up, as I keep saying with how much the quality of the NFL has declined the last 10 years, we should crave top level matchups like that.

So much entitlement in your responses. Denver has had a great defence for one year (last year) and they weren't even the best scoring D in the league so there's that. And the idea that only the 'best' teams can provide viewing quality is just plain wrong.

Marcus Peters is a risk reward corner. Certainly gets his picks.

These teams have track records for a while now. Denver's D has been very good for a while but Wade has taken them to another level. And New England apparently can field me as a QB and beat anyone. And I don't like either of these teams either. They're just the best, deepest, most complete teams in the league. I'm not holding the minority opinion either.

Well, you're not in a minority opinion on this board that's for certain because this place is a Pats echo chamber. Wade has taken them to what new level? Being second best in the league. Ok. Second, I don't know how you claim the Broncos are one if the best teams in the league when their first year QB has yet to deliver a playoff birth, a division title, or a playoff win. Look, two seasons ago the best O ever in league history didn't deliver the SB so if you choose to declare the season over after week 3, well, keep at it. Enjoy yourself.

Because they won the Super Bowl with a quasi-corpse last year, and now they have a live armed QB who's so far looked better than expected. All I'm saying is they are the two best teams in the league and it'd be awesome to see them play themselves 7 times rather than hope they are slowed down by injuries to not end up with the very likely AFC Championship Game. But no other teams have the quality that they do. It's just a fact.

I'll tell you what's a fact. Football Outsiders, who run the most respected analytics around and as you are probably well aware, still had the Seahawks (at 1-1 and stinking in both games) as having the best chance to win the SB? Are they stupid and you are much, much smarter? You pay attention to political polls, why so quiet about NFL analytics?
