it really isn't rocket science.
Plus if they come off the bench they can still be effective. Much faster lineup out there today and that's what the doctor ordered.

yup. Also Blinds corners are a piece of magic compared to Rooneys corners. Three goals were results of Blind corners today!

So you're saying Rooney should be wearing a...Blindfold?

I'll see myself out.

Spurs had to hold on for the victory against Middlesbrough. It looked like that might run away with it (and should have), but it was a little too close.

I didn't watch United/Leicester, so was it a case of ManU being good or Leicester being bad?

United were pretty good, but Leicester were extremely bad. They completely imploded after conceding and United took full advantage.

It's too bad Liverpool and City don't play until December, right now that'd be a great game no doubt. For Leicester they just need to find the lineup that works, Gray looked great when he came on today so maybe they need to work him into more starting lineups for Albrighton maybe. But yeah it's mostly missing Kante, he cleaned up so much for them and it appears covered up their not so great defense.

Yeah, Leicester's Achilles heel is getting behind. If they keep the game close they can steal it, but once they're behind and chasing the game they open up and teams will just thrash the hell out of them.

Their defence isnt good enough to stand on its own, they got by last year largely by playing a really tight team game, not conceding goals and then getting goals from their big scorers.

third game in a row where Chelsea are down 2-0, I believe. Lots of work for Conte.

For a guy that preaches such a tight-knit game its amazing how loose Chelsea play.

That being said, Luiz/Cahill are no Chiellini/Bonucci/Barzagli.

it still amazes me that they broke the bank to get Luiz back, the guy is awful. You managed to make another team overpay like crazy, why take him back?

quality goal.

I'm 100% on board with you.

He was terrible for Chelsea, I cant believe they got PSG to pay for him. That was a HUGE home-run in my books if I'm a Chelsea fan (which I'm not *spits on ground*) and then he proceeds to be decent alongside Thiago Silva.

Then he goes to the World Cup. Continues to looks decent alongside Thiago Silva.

Then Thiago Silva is removed due to suspension and its Luiz's time to shine aaaaaand:

Why in Blue Hell would you want him back? Let alone at that price? Insanity. I cant imagine what Abramovich is thinking watching people spend his money but for the sake of my own sanity I tend to try not to think about what Abramovich is thinking.

Probably something along the lines of: "Whatever happened to Gulags? They seemed like such a swell idea..."
