Every team chasing Toronto has what appears to be ideal opponents for them right now. Jays likely have to win 3 of 4 to maintain their lead.

Baltimore at home vs Arizona
Detroit at home vs KC
Houston at home vs Angels
Seattle on the road vs Minnesota

No Upton today, Carerra takes his spot in LF. Carera/Pillar/Saunders outfield today.

I don't know. Houston and Seattle basically have to win 7-8 of their last 10 games to even have a shot.

Yup. but all it takes is two of those teams to pass us to knock us out, and Detroit and Baltimore have it pretty easy (or so it would appear, they could suddenly develop Bluejays syndrome).

Liriano just refuses to throw strikes sometimes...its weird.

Nice answer from him.

Gotta get the bats going...its truly now or never time for this club IMO when you consider the schedules.

Jays have owned the Yanks at the 'dome so lets keep it going.

I really, really wish JD was playing at 100%. He's clearly not right. He should be mashing some of those pitches. At least he got on base.

Are there stats regarding total errors in a season league wide? Is it just me or does it seem like there are way more errors these days than about 10 years ago?

A bunt by Travis. Hmmm. Hope one of the big bats can do something here.

League average, errors per team:
AL: 85 (152 games)
NL: 93 (153 games)
MLB: 89 (153 games)

Pro-rated to 162 games, the MLB average this year is 94 errors per team.

In 2006:
AL: 98
NL: 106
MLB: 102

Not a fan of a bunt with 0 outs and 2 runners on.
