The quality of the hockey is really Going to make the start of the NHL season look really boring.

That's desperation for you, just trying anything. That used to be Sid's Achilles heel too, glad he finally figured out how to ignore that stuff.

Canada's too good. There's 40 minutes to go and I know they're not losing this game.

If Jonathan Quick was pulling a Gudlevskis, that would be compelling. It's 3-1 after 1. They're done.

Yeah, this is possibly a problem with Csnada as the undisputed best team in the world by a country mile. I'm okay with it.

Every time Ron MacLean ends a segment with a dumb pun I die a little inside.

He's not much better than Principe.

I've watched a few of the games, and I agree they've been pretty entertaining. But for me it doesn't come close to the intensity of the Olympics or the NHL playoffs. Also, the roster format with team North America is just silly. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is hoping that team gets knocked out early just so we can finally get Gaudreau's contract situation taken care of.

I'm hoping they get KO'd because I'm just so sick of the Mcd and Mathews lovefest. Its seems such a blatant decision to hype these guys instead of actually putting the best lines out there.

Was it Burke who picked this USA team? They are just horrible. If this was the Worlds they might be relegated.

Doesn't help a couple of their best players are on the U23 team though.

Sorry Burke, there is no way Keith Yandle would not be helping your team USA right now.

It was Dean Lombardi (Kings GM) but Burke was the assistant. Their roster philosophy makes no sense to me for a best-on-best. Tyler Johnson, Paul Stastny, Justin Faulk, and Phil Kessel would help them.

Going by history comebacks between either of these two teams happen. I won't relax until the final whistle goes.

I would never consider a team with Patrick Kane on it out of it until the last whistle.

Which is odd since they have a period and a half until they are eliminated. Yet they seem more concerned with truculence and setting the tone as if it is a 7 game series. Torts is such an idiot.
