A+'s to Janko, Tuulola, Kylington, Dube, Lomberg, Mangiapane.

A's to Aagaard, Parsons.

B to Tkachuk, really needs some seasoning.

You must be joking. I didn't see any NHL players out there.

Jankowski had 1 point in 3 games against mostly CHLers and lost his fair share of physical battles. He's a good prospect, but I didn't see anything that suggests he's NHL ready.

Couple of great chances but otherwise just some late hits and he looked out of position a fair bit to me. Actually had a decent start to the game but fell off a fair bit as it went along. Dropped down a line too.

My three stars for this would be

1) Tuulola
2) Lomberg
3) Kylington

If Carroll could finish, he could have had half a dozen points. Stats aren't everything.

Eetu wouldn't be totally out of place I don't think. The goalies might be worth a look in the preseason - Johnson's only on one year, so maybe one of them gets into the backup slot next year, assuming Elliott stays.

I just thought Tkahuck looked slow, and maybe needs to mature a little bit so that he's able to better pick his spots.

Jankowski plays the game with such a poised demeanour. At times you're left wanting to see a bit more intensity but his disposition lends itself to such a steady two-way game it's tough to be too upset. He looks like a veteran and I can see him pushing in camp.

Tkachuk looked a bit off today compared to his tempo in the last two games, but to conclude he needs another year of junior based on any games in a prospect tournaments to start the year is a reach. I expect he'll make a big push in camp.

Outside of the big two Lomberg had a heck of a game. Hyman looked pretty good as well. Mangiapane and Tuulola have looked consistently good all tournament.

Lots of positives to take away from this tourney.

His skating looked fine the first two games but he looked a bit flat today.

Really tough to draw any conclusions from these games outside of the fact he's a huge shift disturber. Constantly plays with a nasty edge.

Though you really do expect a top draft pick to shine against that level of competition. I have to admit I wasn't all that impressed.

Did you miss the first two games? He most definitely did stand out like a bull in a china shop.
