Uh
Lundqvist might be past his prime but he's still great.

with Europe at 2 wins, the USA needs to beat Canada to have any chance of advancing (as we would have 2 wins also if Canada wins)

I think this means if Canada wins tomorrow it's Canada and Europe that automatically move on. Americans would be out. Not sure if anyone can confirm that?
Edit: ^what he said.

I must admit, watching John Tortorella consistently fail is a very satisfying feeling.
That guy has been a talent-less hack since day 1. I cant believe he still manages to find work.

I cant believe that US management appoint this guy when they have such a successful junior program with tons of successful coaches. Whats wrong with them?

well Ron Wilson was the coach of the last world juniors so they're definitely going the wrong way

US seems to think appointing a 60+ guy gives you an advantage. Not in todays hockey.

I don't know who you may be referring to, but are any of those guys NHL coaches?
Because I think this tournament has to include NHL players, coaches, GM's, etc.

Two things.
1). Edmonton is terrible. I know what I am talking about, I am a Calgarian.
2). Wow there are two goalies worse than Hiller.

What you talking about? Swedish coach is not a nhl coach. There is no such requirement.

Why would it matter that you are a Swede? Lundqvist is still one of the best 2-3 goalies in the world even if Markstrom has been better in a small sample size

So far either Canada or a small smattering of European countries.
