Essentially if you have a clean character, and you load into a crucible match, or strike if in that particular instance there is 4 buffs you'll more then likely get all 4 buffs. I went into a private match with a guy that had all 5, he killed me with his super then I revenge killed him with my super and the buffs infected me.

I have a character with 2 buffs, and I've been unable to get more on that guy, and we've tried everything. Yet others have said they got more after an instance. Hasn't really been any clear information.

Going to be interesting to see what happens come Tuesday though.

1 more day till Rise of Iron is out. Im not gonna lie I am pretty excited for some new content and a raid.

Are we going to try and get a cp raid going for this weekend? For what its worth me and my buddy would be down. We both have 335 hunter, warlock and titan.

Okay, so update on the possible PS4 CP blind raid on Sunday. Those that have expressed interest in this thread:

1) myself
2) Mccree
3) Deviannt
4) Deviannt +1

Maybes:

1) Since1984 - responded to my post about the raid, but asked what platform and didn't say if they were interested or not
2) Jbo - would be interested, but will not be a blind run

Any others interested? Personally, I'd love it to be totally blind, so that does sort of leave Jbo out, but I guess we can see what develops. I also see the CP clan is now 5 people, but I cannot see who is in it?

I was thinking of starting around noon or 1pm. That should give us all afternoon to give it a good run.

Im fine if you guys want to do it. I have a wedding Saturday so really want to get in there Friday. We can always do a run the week after or something.

Finally traded in the PS3 for a PS4 on the weekend. Bought Destiny and having a blast with it. Was able to get up to level 25. Did a Vanguard strike that was good. Tried Crucible, but they matched my level 23 with level 40's. Got annihilated, but was still okay. Wish I got into this a lot earlier, as everyone will be on the new content tomorrow.

One question. I get a free upgrade to level 40 tomorrow with the new release. Is it worthwhile to jump up to that level right away or keep plugging away at these lower levels? I'm thinking I miss out on a lot of weapons and gear if I jump up right away.

You will probably end up getting all the weapons and gear a lot faster @ 40 than at 25. But! you will miss out on some of the "story".

Level advantage is disabled in regular crucible play, so a level 40 won't do any more damage than you would at 25.
They will, however, have a huge advantage of knowing the maps and having "meta" weapons popular in crucible right now.

I am an old school Destiny grinder, took bit of a break but since returning I now possess a LvL 330 Warlock. I know absolutely zero about the new Raid and would very much enjoy running it blind if you'll have me.
