That was fun to watch, not the ending I was hoping for, but what an entertaining game.

MacD just isn't very good.

It's just a prospects game. I'm not really phased. It's about the play of individual players and evaluating.

At least we have Parsons. Him and Gilles give us good goaltending depth. I have no faith in Mcdonald. Did not like the pick at the draft and surely don't right now

Entertaining, yes. But there is no way the team's should be happy with their games. That was ugly hockey.

they had two 2 on 1s before the breakaway the other way

entertaining finish and a strong third for the Flames

goaltending was the difference

Kylington tried one pass too many in the offensive zone which led to the Oilers' breakaway. Thought he might have had the wheels to break it up but he was too far out of it.

Tkachuk and Jankowski were the best players on the ice once again

it's a prospects tourney with majority of these guys never having played together, I'm not expecting NHL quality hockey here.

Lots of energy, fight, tenacity, skill and passion. Can't wait til Monday!

McDonald was brutal tonight, but I'm not going to write him off because of one bad game played mid September in a prospects tourney.

I'll write him off because even if tonight doesn't happen, he's been mediocre at very, very best in his whole hockey career

According to anyone who has been watching him since he got drafted.

I think almost everyone here has been underwhelmed by MacDonald. Most of us wanted Demko at the time.

He was drafted for raw potential. So far, he just hasn't shown us anything.

Don't think it's been mentioned yet, but I thought Falksovsky played good. Has some hands despite being a defenceman.

Mason McDonald's save percentage has gotten steadily worse with every year's progression in the Q. From .907 to .906 and now .902.

That's simply not true. He's been playing for a brutal team in Charlottetown in a traditionally high scoring league and has put up over a .900 save % in three straight seasons.

Apparently he was highly ranked in his draft year and someone saw something in him at some point to pick him for team Canada.

Make no mistake, I'm not saying he's a stud and a sure fire NHL'er, but some people need to be a little realistic. Goalies are an absolute crap shoot and can take years to develop.

I wouldn't draw a ton of conclusions based on one game. That's all I'm saying.
