She didn't go thru any of this effort. She posted on facebook looking to score mroe tickets to a game from a radio station. The media then went to interview her, and, her interview just stinks. Reeks of a total made up story, go ahead and watch it yourself.
I'm that some drunk idiot probably spilled beer by accident on her kid, and then some idiot fan or two maybe made a dumb comment about the jacket. So she doubled down and turned it into a gauntlet of abuse that rivals a sporting version of the purge.
Whats more likely... someone lied and embellished on facebook and it got away from her, or, this one person suffered a train of abuse that most of us will never eye witness in our lives combined.

I guess I have trouble understanding why you're so riled up about this, though. Every fan base has its small share of drunken idiotic fans, but only people looking to troll or stir things up paint the entire fan base with that broad of a brush.

I think he's riled up because as usual the Rider fans has taken this and made a bigger deal about it than normal, and is using it as a way to attack another fan base rather than look at the state of their own currently terrible franchise (on the field and in the front office).
Another soapbox for Rider fans, when there is some serious holes in the story being told.
Did the kid have some beer spilled on him by some drunken idiots - Probably so.
Did drunken idiots probably taunt this kid for wearing green in Winnipeg - Probably so.
Did this kid and his family get terrorized around the whole stadium by multiple fans and groups of people - I have my doubts.
I think at the end of the day here, in my opinion someone had a bad experience and took to facebook to vent about it. Media and social medfia people picked up on and it and it got embellished a bit from there.
Riders fans have picked up on this and used it as perfect example to throw #### on Winnipeg fans because that's the only thing they have this year to say to them which is probably while Ressurection and other Bomber fans are riled.

Fair enough - I lurk over at RF.com and they have a thread dedicated to this incident over there and you can glean quite a bit from reading some of the comments from Rider fans in that thread. As mentioned previously, you don't want to paint with too broad a brush, but certainly there are some Rider fans enjoying that fact that this happened at IGF and Bombers fans did it to one of their own (and a 9 year old kid to boot).

Just to add to my post earlier... the Bombers have reviewed the internal security tapes from the game. A guy who has connections to the team either by friend or employment has indicated the Bombers found nothing. Zero evidence of this incredible abuse. The Bombers cant really do anything about it, as public shame of this person serves no gain for them. So they have to just eat this and let this terrible person drag their team, city, and province through the mud for free ####.
Disgusting.

People in media sometimes are complete dip####s. Just maybe #### off at a time like this and take your stupid ####ing questions and shove them up your ass, and let the young man have his space and grieve after a close friend was shot and killed this week.
Cato, who was involved in a practice confrontation with Alouette receivers Kenny Stafford and Duron Carter this week, became upset when Zurkowsky asked if he felt “bullied” by his teammates. He walked away, proclaiming loudly “I’m never talking to you again.”
Cato’s emotional state may be partially explainable. During an earlier media session, Cato said that a close friend had been shot to death in Miami this week.

Unreal. 4th punt blocked in the last 3 games. Hamillton may want to work on that.

Jeffery Oatmeal and Glen Johnson sent out a memo to get back on track today and tommorow....
@paulosenra:
Tonight's #Ticats/#AlsMTL game had a total of 7 penalties, matching the lowest combined single-game penalty total in last 20 years. #CFL

The follow up questions:
How many challenges or reviews?
How long did it take to decide the challenges or reviews?
The issue is the flow of the game. If it's stopped by penalty or review, it ends up affecting the flow the same way.

Report of Popp's demise may be premature:
@RickMoffat
HC/GM Jim Popp given game ball was NOT parting gesture. His plan remains return after bye-week to coach #Alouettes. CFL

Dan Lefevour looking like he is trying to give the starting QB job to Drew Willy already. Threw a couple of interceptions late in the game. Winnipeg 43-29 Toronto with 2:19 left in the game.
Make that 46-29 Bombers.
