fwiw: The new update on ios only appeared after I upgraded to ios 10.
Haven't really played with it much. Made Mankey my buddy. Little buddy icon appears beside the player icon in the corner. It's not strutting around with the main walking avatar as I was lead to believe.

I was able to update without updating my iOS to 10, might just be coincidence with the release timing.

Yup, good times. Pokemon Go will not play on my oneplus one. I haven't done anything to the phone at all. This is a gyp.

What are the chances of hatching 3 Ponyta's in a row? Well, I just did and now have evolved it to a Rapidash. It's too bad the skill set sucks IMO. Ember at 10 and Drill Run at 50. like wtf.. Drill Run for a Fire Type Pokemon?!!!

3 of my last 5 have been 10km after not picking one up for over a week. I wonder if their drop rate has been increased.

I've been having some atrocious luck with Pokémon Go recently. Just had a Primeape run from me, missed a Dragonite by 10 seconds, and Kabuto has spawned twice close to my work the past two days but I've been actually working and missed them. On top of that, things keep popping out and escaping from me.
I honestly don't get the escape rates sometimes. I've had several Weedles escape at low CPs after hitting an excellent on the throw.

-up to 84 Pokemon now, hopefully they switch around the regional exclusives at some point
-Started trying the gym battles, really surprising how little there is downtown. The Bow Tower seems in constant conflict
-The buddy system is pretty neat and how cute does Eevee look on your shoulder

The buddy system is a good idea but #### implementation. Seriously, 1 F#####g candy for walking 3km. I think I'm almost done with this game.
