Another tradition I hope doesn't get lost is the Misteeks and co daily roundup news threads where there are a bunch of news article links in one place.

Is it really that big of a deal who starts them? Are we going to start to see people post a thread at ungawdly hours just to be first?

GDTs's are about discussion, if you have a big long post with lots of info just add it to the current thread, create more discussion. If it is quality it will not matter if it is first or sixty-first.

I suggested this just be done by committee (first come, etc) but I can guarantee you, now that I think about it, we will in fact have someone post the GDT at 12:01.

How bout whoever wants to post a GDT just do it. Early in the day or late in the afternoon. Do whatever you want. Not that I'm going to do a write up, however if I did decide to, I'll post it when I please regardless of who is scheduled or hasn't posted. Hell if they've posted one and someone else wants to do it too. Go for it.

Come on my friend Locke! You've known me long enough to know how I think. . It's not a popularity or a structured environment on a forum. If Bingo wants to have it that way fine, he's the legend. Hence full respect on his post game write ups. People can start whatever topic they want. If someone posts a GDT and others have one too. Just comment and post within that thread, pretty simple.

But to say one particular person should only start the GDT for that game is absurd.

I hear what you're saying bout the anarchy but cripes. Whenever people are trying to decide who should start the threads takes me back to the days of organized hockey where we would decide every game who got to step on the ice first.

Anyways I appreciate Cali and his GDT write ups, or anyones for that matter. But I don't care who starts it first. Do whatever you want.
