The works of Scott Adams provide the complete extent of Buster's political and social epistemology.

That was an interesting read.
I wonder if Powell and Rice would actually endorse Clinton.

I was so disappointed in the job Powell did in regards to the whole yellow cake mess. I always liked him, and considered him a straight shooter, but his performance at the UN tarnished his reputation. Nice to see he regrets that moment in his life and is the principled man he was as a general.

Polls are continuing to shift in Trump's favour. The latest Google poll - which 538 rates fairly highly - has him leading in all three of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Florida. This doesn't even factor in Hillary's weekend, where she had the unmitigated gall to say that bigots and racists are indeed bigots and racists, and then get sick. It also doesn't factor in the debates, which will likely consist of Trump shouting over top of Clinton every time she speaks, followed by all the major media sources tripping over each other to pronounce him the winner.

He's going to win.

I think Hillary gets one last strike. One more big event/controversy/health scare, and Trump pulls into the lead for good.

Lol, Dogbert and Buster, Co chairmen of the Scott Adams fan club.

It will be interesting how the newsweek article of Turnip's foreign shady business dealings plays out. Just finished reading that article over lunch and whoa, any person with shame would have a tough time reconciling all these nefarious things. But Turnip, he lives in the moment - nuance and planning be damned.

I also think that of the people supporting Turnip, a significant portion has made up their mind and wont change. Clinton will need to continue to shine light on the awful alt-right and make sure that people on the fence will vote for her. Gary Johnson just needs to go away.

To hell with that - I'm terrified of what a Trump presidency will look like. Sure, why not turn over the government of the most powerful country in the world over to the Tea Party nutjobs, psycho-Christians, alt-right white nationalists, and full-blown fascists, all headed by a lunatic who's in Putin's back pocket and might just start a nuclear war over a snarky Tweet? What could go wrong?

The next four years might as well be open season on any American who isn't white and male.

We will see much more of the Obamas, Bill, Sanders, Biden etc, and Hillary should climb back into a comfortable lead. She should do well in the debates.

Election Update: Has Clinton’s ‘Bad Weekend’ Moved The Polls?

There’s been a moderate shift toward Trump, but it’s too soon to say for sure.

Take a breath, calm down, it's going to be ok. Remind yourself the media needs a close race narrative or it losses out on tens of millions in ad buys. Remind yourself polling is following a similar trend to 2008 and 2012. Remind yourself that a close race is actually better for the Democrats, because it decreases the likelihood there's any complacency, plus it might swing a few Johnson voters her way who want nothing to do with Trump. Relax basically.

Scott Adams has publicly endorsed Clinton on many occasions.

No, because he also has strong words about Clinton.

Ross Douthat had a good tweet today. Something along the lines that this election has a candidate without a campaign, and a campaign without a candidate.

Also anyone interested in the elitism of both parties should pull out his quotes about the 99%.

i don't think there's any chance the CIA will let a dime store Manchurian candidate win, they'll be another Russian email leak of his massive debt to Putin or him getting a blow job from a look alike of his daughter

See Matt Lauer? You can challenge him, it's ok.

Donald Trump's employees are not all eligible to receive eight-weeks paid parental leave, according to a new report, contrary to Ivanka Trump's and the Trump Organization's head of human resources' claims.

An undated employee handbook from the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas obtained by the Huffington Post says workers are only eligible for unpaid family leave, as mandated by federal law. Employees can only get paid during their parental leave by using "earned and unused vacation days and personal days," the manual states, according to the Huffington Post.
