Would you prefer a series of CP Polls on the top ten defensemen?

The poll was a great idea. But you should have made it 8 years. The 7 years muddies the waters a bit.
Two variables: term and price. Eliminate one variable as much as possible (in this case by using max 8 years).
Would have gotten clearer results.

Agree. At 7 years Indo not want to see a cap hit higher than $7M per but at 8 years I would go as high as $7.5M per

If that were to happen (Note* I don't want anyone to do it...please don't!) I would be surprised to see him outside of the top 10.

I've read through this train wreck of a thread now and have one simple question?
What is Gaudreauvertimes end game here?
There is no one on this forum who has any pull or input with Flames management. Your incessant non stop tire pumping of Johnny makes you clearly someone associated with his agent or a bat crap crazy fan boy.
We get it, you like Johnny, so do we.

I would be surprised to see him in the top 15. And mind you I think he's probably close to top 15.

Have you seen his HERO chart?

That's really the only reason I come to this thread. So I can see him finally exposed for who he truly is.
We need another Squiggy & the Dink investigation on this.

No need to be so condescending . . .
I've heard rumblings of 8.5 from a few back channels
Doesn't make it fact as I said, but then there are no facts in this.

Damn ...
thought of that, but then I talked myself into 7 as I think it's the most likely term of the many being discussed.

Poll now forming the classic bell curve, we've reached statistical relevance!

Yeah that 7.3 should be max for 8 years, IMO. At 7 your only getting 2 UFA years, so it shouldn't go above 7.
