No big deal. Camp fillers while few guys are at World cup. Also need some plugs on the bottom lines while skilled guys play on the top lines at the training camp.

I think it'd be nice if Jones could show something in training camp, maybe even make the team. If he does, maybe the lines shake out like this?
Gaudreau - Monahan - Shinkaruk
Tkachuk - Bennett - Brouwer
Frolik - Backlund - Chiasson
Ferland - Stajan - Jones
Bouma
Just speculating of course -- the Ferland - Stajan - Jones line was the best Flame line in the 2015 playoffs, and if Jones makes it, the Flames could bring it back, theoretically. Like Higgins, I don't think he'll make this team... but he definitely has some gas left in the tank as a bottom-six right winger. I still think he can put up 10 goals and 25 points in the right spot.

Meh. It's just a PTO. He was my favourite Flame when he was here, but he's really replaceable.
Just throwing out his best-case scenario. I did it when Higgins was signed, too.
