My German Wire Haired Pointer- he loves my youngest son, they are inseparable.
My princess Hannah, she is a Wheaton Terrier and just about as sweet as it gets.
We used to have a German Short Haired Pointer, not the wire haired kind though. Great disposition, but we could not keep him home, he just kept following his nose. He was neutered too.
We live in the Priddis area. He disappeared one day, following his nose again, and about two hours later, I got a phone call from a stable near DeWinton...our dog was there!!! That is how fast and far he would travel. Some of the pads on the bottom of his feet were worn off that time and he did stay home until they healed up.

Portia, she's not my pit-bull but I take care of her a lot. I walk her, I pick up her crap on walks, I feed her so she can crap on the walks, I give her water, I tuck her in under her comfort blanket when her owner is away at work, I give her chew toys, I pet her, I play with her and I actually have an bloody attachment to her now...

Saturday night bump. I'm sitting in my lazy boy with my little 16 month old golden retriever Daisy, and she's dozing in my arms and nothing seems wrong with the world at all.
Dogs are the ####ing best.

Had a dog show up at my back door the other night. Scared my wife when she was leaving. I came to the door, and the guy just walked in like he owned the place. A schnauzer or tearier, I dunno, I'm a cat person . So I went for a ride around the neighbourhood to see if anyone was looking. No luck, so I 311'd it. A few minutes later 3 girls are walking up the street panicked. I asked if they were looking for a dog, and like 3 teenage girls, they screamed their head off and came running up. Turns out they were visiting a friend who was sleeping and they had left the door open not realizing she had a dog. Dog just saw itself out.
TLDR; dog being dog.
