Agreed. He would immediately become one the most promising RWers in the system and the only one with top 6 potential.

The contracts are in US dollars but they may pay them in the Canadian equivalency, at least part of the money since they wouldn't want to be paying banks their transfer fees, or is there a way around that?

I guess that Dallas wanted to pay him like a 30 point player and the KHL wanted to pay him like a star. I wouldn't chalk this down to Russian flight risk. He put up about half as many points as Radulov.
