Thornton wore #19 in Vancouver, but I remember him wearing #97 somewhere else. Torino?

That goal was pretty much on him.

Hahaha Crosby throws a cheap shot at Palmeri and then Palmeri responds with a shove and Weber goes crazy.

Pietrangelo hasn't looked great.

Muzzin was a pylon that entire period.

You have to admit, USA goaltending has come a long way over the years. Quick, Bishop, Schneider is maybe lesser than Price, Holtby, Crawford by fractions of a point, and most of that is because of Price being unreal at this point in his career.

Say what you want about Kesler the person, that was a helluva defensive play there.

I will swallow my negativity and admit that this is really good hockey, even more so considering that this is an Exhibition game for an Exhibition Tournament.

Somewhere out there Jim Hughson cries out in agony at an opportunity missed!

He's playing his off-side.

Which makes no sense, since "not having D play their off sides" was why Subban didn't make the team.

Marchand with a great play there to turn it over and keep it in the zone, which led to the goal. Great call to have him on this team

I thought it was dumb to not start Schneider, but Quick looks great.

And I'm not watching live apparently, so I hadn't seen the goal when I posted this.

This Canadian D core should be so much better.

Keith / Doughty
Brodie / Subban
Giordano / Weber
Burns

Is significantly better than what they brought. I know Keith is injured, but the rest is just dumb lineup choices.
