When Corey Perry is your extra forward, that is a stacked group.

Because this tournament is ridiculously organized and Canada/USA aren't allowed to have some of their best players on their rosters

That team Canada lineup is stacked, wow. I know they usually are, however for some reason this one just sticks out to me. Originally wasn't a fan of Crosby with Marchand and Bergeron, but the more I thought about it I realized how good of a shut down line that could be. Go Canada!

It's all center men. Next world Cup they should just dress 18 centers.

Wow. It really shows in a comparison between the third lines on each team:

Team USA:
Justin Abdelkader · Ryan Kesler · T.J. Oshie

That is a really good second line on a top NHL team

Team Canada:
John Tavares · Ryan Getzlaf · Steven Stamkos

That is the best top line on any NHL team

Seriously? Why not give Crosby Seguin or Stamkos on his right? Why is Tavares a LW? Why is Thornton a RW? Wouldn't you rather have those guys in the middle than Giroux? Hell, the same obviously goes for Bergeron... This is just weird. I guess it's just a tune-up though.

Another weirdness - you actually have a natural RW, on a team massively overloaded with centers, and he's the spare?

Meh.

Bergeron is the perfect fit with Crosby. It'll be like when Hossa was on Sid's wing, except maybe even better.

Johnson and Abdelkader even making that team is a slight on USA's management.

Wheeler would deserve to make Team Canada.

Dat Canadian D. I can't see any of the USA defenceman nabbing a spot on team Canada. Even some the Canadian players left off are still ahead of any of the American D.

I like the European tradition of playing the National Anthem of the winning team at the end.

Because I can leave.

Why would they put this game in Columbus? The atmosphere for two hockey heavyweights is pretty sad. Sportsnet announcer sure makes it less spectacular as well.

I'm also already sick of Paul Romanuk. Stop asking inane questions and call the game.
