You don't need to be religious to have a righteous, moralistic outlook.

I am proud to say that my posts are the only ones with actual homosexual endorsement. How's that for virtue signalling, calgaryblood?

Rational and not overly dramatic/pathetic/pompous?

I probably shouldn't derail the calgaryblood dialogue/trainwreck, but I still don't understand what you are saying. The courts said it should be legal (and I think that is what "society" is saying as well, although I doubt it is unanimous). What else do you think the court said?
Edit: You disagree with the reasoning? That is all I can think of.

Peter12 is one of my two favourite posters in the Off-topic section of CP (other being CliffFletcher). Peter12's posts are interesting, thought-provoking and discussion-enticing, while respectful (for the most part) towards other posters, even when I disagree with them. Isn't that a good thing?

Yes, and the philosophic anthropology. Humans don't act the way that Supreme Court judges want them to act. Same goes for economists.

Don't lie to yourself peter12. I can quote a good dozen posts that state otherwise. You can't quote one.

How do Supreme Court judges want us to act? This is the part I am missing. Do you think legalizing gay marriage means that the court wants all gay people to marry? Specific gay people to marry? I don't see it.

Meanwhile in France...
"Dirty Whore: Youths attack families of women wearing shorts in France"
Man, that is an awful headline.
Quote:
“The male partners had simply asked them to respect their women and that sparked the fight. The three men were violently beaten on the face in front of their children. This was provocation of a sexual nature with the intention of forcing a reaction out of the men present,” said Marchal.

Since you are new to BC, a warning - "The Province" is the equivalent to a bunch of toilet paper with writing on it.

I'm just curious, does that mean the story as it is written, is untrue or sensationalized?

More like editorialized versions of stories they find somewhere. It's like the Calgary Sun, where they add their own conservative spins to the stories.
