Del Potro into the QFs with a Thiem retirement. Gotta like his chances against Stan as the likely QF opponent. I think Dimitrov-Murray could be interesting, Murray has to be exhausted at this point given how much he's played between the French and now. I don't think he's missed a final in that stretch. Dimitrov has had a mini resurgence this summer so not an easy matchup.

No Milos for the Davis Cup. The team is: Vasek Pospisil, Daniel Nestor, Denis Shapovalov and Frank Dancevic.

Milos says he needs to undergo further testing/recovery for his cramping.

Whoops lol. Dimitrov is just like Genie now, one bad moment and it just turns into a meltdown. Blows that easy overhead in the first set and it's a total laugher after that.

Vinci served for the 1st set at 5-4. 9 games later and she's out 7-5, 6-0. Serena now basically has to win the tournament or Kerber is #1.

Another retirement win for Novak although at least this time he played two sets. Gael hasn't lost a set and Novak's only played two full matches. Rooting for Le Monf of course.
