They only saw 0.8mm rain today, and reports from last night cited decent riding, the odd damp section. Was planning on heading out tonight but plans got cancelled.

The Thunderbolt has bushings. Did you remember to squirt some grease into the ports before the maiden ride? From the factor, my bushings were nearly dry.

Gotta give a shout out to Bow Cycle for standing behind the bike they sold me and fixed this for free, parts and labour.

From most of my discussions with others this isnt exactly your typical warranty issue.

I use it. I used to do the sufferfest videos, but I like Zwift much better. Especially with the smart trainer. I also have a trainerroad subscription. I can import my sufferfest videos into trainerroad and that's pretty good. It's more of a full on training application. You get your ftp setup and then you do specific videos. What I like with Zwift, is it's more like just going out and riding, and it's cool when a pro passes you. So with Zwift, if I feel like getting 30 mins in, I just hop on and ride. With Trainerroad, you do the specific training ride you choose for that day. Proper warmup, ride, intervals, cool down.

I don't know if this is the thread for this, but can someone recommend a bike? I just want something for the paths and maybe a tiny bit of trails in Fish Creek, but nothing crazy. I don't want to just buy a Supercycle or anything terrible, but it's just for casual use. Thoughts?

Pick up a hybrid bike from a place like Bow Cycle. They are part road bike, part mountain bike. Straight handle bars, shocks in the front.

Where do you live? There are a few good places to buy that type of bike, but you are better to get one from a shop near you for maintenance.

You'll want a hybrid/commuter bike. I've always been happy with Treks. Reliable, mid-range bikes.

I'd recommend swinging by Calgary Cycle (aka Pure Cycle). Staff is really helpful, and any bike you buy with them has free lifetime maintenance and tune-ups.

For where you live Slava, Calgary Cycle Pure is great. Cycle Path is also great and have a bit more selection.

Further to the above - my vote is coy cleats south.

Rode at west Bragg today and for one of the few time this year, I did not feel the need to wash my bike after getting home as the trails were quite dry (perhaps it did not rain there last night).

One a personal note, I had a tough day on my bike as my legs felt horrible and at point it felt as if my chest was going to explode.....after leaving the lot I was thinking I was going to give up the ride at the end of bragging rights; however, I gutted it out. Thanks to riding buddy who kept waiting for me.....
