I had one fragment left when this got released. It was the calcified fragment for Thalnok at the Court of Oryx. And what was the Tier 3 CoO this week? Thalnok! YAY! Now I'm sporting my new shader and emblem.
Also, be happy that you're climbing the mountain top now. Crucible bounties were a lot lot rougher when it was first released.

Snagged my exotic sword yesterday. I was waiting to trying and get a team together to run the strike, and wondered if I could solo it, so I decided to fly in and give it a shot. I had no idea there was matchmaking for that strike. I ended up joining two others already in the strike, and they were both going for the same sword as me. Worked out so well, and I was pretty excited when we finished.
Now all I need is a nightfall on the Dreadnaught and I'll have all 50 fragments, finishing all my moments. I might even buy the t-shirt just as a jab to my girlfriend as she hates this game - haha

Ran the nightfall last night and got my last fragment. Moments of Triumph complete!
Told my girlfriend that was I considering buying the shirt and she rolled her eyes so hard she got dizzy. It's the little things in life, you know

All I need are the Challenge Mode fragments. Not super excited about enduring that, as I haven't touched the raid in months.

I still need to grind out 20/25 guardian kills with the sword for the exotic sword quest.
So painful.

Go for the hilt kills! It's stupid yet also strangely satisfying lol.

I ordered the shirt a few days ago. My wife's eyes are still rolling in her head.

Just got Moments of Triumph Y2 completed last night. Also ordered the shirt...my wife doesn't get it.
Also doing the entire pvp mountaintop quest made me get much better at PvP. Would love to organize a trials CP group next time it's on.

Yeah, the crucible quests didn't end up being as difficult as I expected.
Grinding for special rare materials and ability kills for the exotic sword on the other hand...

I know there are a lot of people in the community that complain the game is a grind, but fore the most part I enjoy pretty much all type of gameplay. The only time I ever felt like it was a grind was getting those stupid rare materials. Why they thought that was a good idea, I'm not sure.
Anyone have the shirt yet? I'm wondering if it's worth it to order one?

Pre-ordered last week.
I know it's most likely just going to be more of the same, but somehow I'm still enjoying it.
Not sure if I've ever been this into a video game.
Anyone else unreasonably excited for RoI?
I'm pretty disappointed that there's only a change in light, and not level.

I am pretty hyped for RoI personally.
I still remember my first day of the Taken King - I pretty much played the entire day, and every light level increase felt awesome. It was also great to immerse myself in the story as I as able to play through the whole sotry in one day. One of my greatest gaming memories and hope to have the same experience with RoI.

Really? The story is mediocre at best IMO. So much gaps and to fill in the gaps you have to read grimoires? boring! give me a ton of awesome cinematics IE DEUS EX

Vault of Glass is definitely one of my greatest gaming moments. Watching Atheon fall that first time .... ugh I don't think that moment will ever be recreated.

I don't know why, because the encounter is honestly not that enjoyable, but the first time I saw Golgoroth rise out of his little pool, I was really blown away.
Lots of great Destiny memories though.

It was moreso being able to play the whole story in one day, run strikes with my friends, and get jacked up for every light level increase. Three of coins were new then, and getting new exotics was so exciting. Just the whole experience that day was awesome.
If I did have to pick my all time favorite moment, it was beating Vault of Glass on hard mode for the first time. Second would probably be when my Ghally dropped. Third was my first solo Crota run (that music during the final battle just makes you feel like a Legend).

Jumped on one day last week with Pixelus and had a lot of fun. Was the first time I played in probably a year, but it brought back all of the memories of how fun this game is. Pre-ordered Rise of Iron this morning. Let's do this.
