my wife and i were really good friends for a couple years before we started dating
after dating for 4 years i proposed and about 5 months later we were married and we moved into our first house. (so almost 4 and a half years before moving in together)
this past july was our 15th anniversary

I think age also needs to be considered as well.
i.e. if you dated from 17 to 25 before moving in together marrying at 27, is different from dated 30 to 32 when you moved in together and getting married at 33
That being said, I moved in with my right hand since the day we started dating when I was 12

Dated for a year and a half before we officially lived together, but her apartment was across the street from my house and she never slept there. It was more of a glorified closet. She was a little hesitant as she had it in her head that she needed to buy a condo first for some reason, but logic won out on that one. Lived together for another 2.5 - 3 years before I proposed. Got married a year later and have been married for four years now. We just got "our" own house, versus her moving into my house.

Dated for 11 months long distance (Saskatoon-Calgary), got engaged, married 5 months later. I moved to Calgary a month before the wedding, essentially I dumped my stuff in our place, worked at my new job in Calgary for a couple weeks before taking off for a couple weeks to get married. I would have stayed in Saskatoon longer, then quit and looked for a job after the wedding if necessary, but this employer wanted a Sept 1 start, even if I was gone for a few weeks shortly after.

Started dating in October, got engaged in November, and got married in February. Seems ridiculously fast in retrospect but it's been 16 years and we're still going strong so I guess we must have done something right.

Met in September 2006, married August 2007.
Fast? Perhaps, but 26 days backpacking India together in March made me sure she was the one.
We moved in together in May 2007 (I proposed in March) after selling my condo in the boom.

OK...
4 months dating till moving into her condo
Lived together for a year
