It is obviously difficult to compare players from different eras. More importantly, the selection largely depends on whether one wants to assemble team for an all-star game or a team that would dominate regular NHL season and play-offs (where you'd need some PK, faceoffs, size, grit, etc.)
If latter is the case, here's my squad with 5 extra forwards and 2 extra dmen.
