I like him in 9. That way he can be like the second leadoff guy, and turn the order over to get to JB JD and EE.
I think I saw that this is only the fifth time all season that they have had this line up.

Yeah, it's not a huge deal or anything. Just a small change to get Travis more at bats. His SLG% and OPS% are right up there on the team. He'll probably get more walks too with more experience. I think he's too good of a young hitter to be batting 9th, but with this line up, yeah it's no biggie.

Yasiel Puig likely on the move. An unknown team has made a claim and now can work out a deal to acquire him.
I would have mixed feelings if it were Toronto.

Just saw that Grilli and Benoit have given up ZERO earned runs in their last combined 26+ innings. Both practically free.

And both have been pitching in "high leverage situations".
I basically posted this so I could again use the phrase "high leverage situations".

You bald-o.
Thankfully he's not bald, or else he would never hear the end of it.

I was going to say the same thing. First time I went to watch a game there about 10 years ago the roof was closed, seemed very cold and boring inside. Went back this June to see some games, the roof was open for every game, lots of sun, tons of fans, looking up at the CN Tower, great atmosphere. Obviously the park is getting older now, but a nice sunny day with the roof open makes it pretty enjoyable still.

I know some have had issues with Saunders, and yeah he had a bad tint for a while there, but IMO he has been a solid player overall and looks to be heating up again. Good news.

Lots of twitter chatter about Goins being yanked during the Bisons game tonight.
Trade? Injury? Much ado about nothing?
