He doesn't get to make a list. He doesn't get to dictate when he wants to go.
Calgary would get to negotiate with every team in the league. If he wants to play elsewhere, that team better pony up with the best offer.

Forget Johnny, what are we going to get from Matthew Tkatchuk when he wants to move back to Arizona? He's American, so he'll definitely be trying to get back home asap.

He's from St Louis so how about we trade him for Fabbri straight up.

This.
We are always hearing about how some player wants a move to a city to be close to home. It almost always doesn't happen. More often they don't want a trade because they've made a home (see Shane Doan).

This thread is stupid. For years I watched the flames play boring hockey.. Johnny makes incredible plays and makes hockey fun to watch again as a flames fan. Suggesting any trade value deserves a smack in the face.
