I guess I am differentiating Muslims living under secular governments vs Islamist governments-- ie how to make Muslims in Europe and NA less misogynistic vs how to you change behaviour in a caliphate.

I see the solutions to the two issues as fundamentally different.

I'm not sure you can do much to change the attitudes of these guys once they're about 25. Especially if they live in enclaves of people who share their beliefs.

The biggest reason Canada hasn't seen the same level of cultural conflict with Muslim immigrants as Europe has is because we draw immigrants from different populations. Canada mainly gets educated or investor-class immigrants. Secular urbanites. Muslim immigrants to Europe tend to be much less educated, come from rural communities, much more religious, and with very high rates of female illiteracy. In fact, in a lot of cases a Muslim male will immigrate to France of the UK, and then a few years later bring in a poor, illiterate girl from the countryside as a wife.

I don't understand, and I doubt I'll ever understand, why people immigrate to countries that have a culture they find repugnant and depraved. Is the material standard of living enjoyed by a cabbie or dishwasher in Paris so superiour to that in Morocco that you're willing to bring up your family in a vile social environment? Or do they think the ethnic enclave they live in will shield them from exposure to the wanton sluts and drunken pig infidels?

You don't fix the adults, you fix their kids. The more secular education they get the more moderate they will be. If you make a law so that the mother can't go to the beach with her kids the kids don't get exposed to other cultures.

I think the common answer for immigrants on why they immigrate is better life for their kids. So while dishwasher in Paris might not be great the hope is the kids become educated and successful. True generational sacrifice.

FYP.

But won't you also be exposing your children to the temptations of a vile and debauched host culture, a culture where the devil offers temptations at every turn in the form of sluts, drunkenness, and the moral debasement of the decadent West?

And if you want to toss the word prejudice around you might want to stop judging 2 billion people because you saw a few creepy Muslim men at the nude beach you go to.
So you are right that they aren't the only gawkers or voyeurs, but they are the only group who seems to ignore the obvious violation of a delicate social structure designed to protect people's privacy, and safety.

Theodore Dalrymple has observed that the growth of the British under-class is fueled primarily by the breakdown of white blue-collar class families, and sons of Muslim immigrants raised in a cultural blend of Islamic misogyny and Western libertinism.

Well, if they're going after religious garb on the beaches there, I hope they're going after these women tooth and nail as well.

And this bastard? He better be in a budgie smuggler immediately. No street clothes, buddy. FINE HIS ASS.

It's France, they have always had an amazing ability to rationalize the most appalling behaviour to Jews, Africans and now Muslims while declaring themselves to be the home of Liberté, égalité, fraternité.

Are we sure we should be talking about this, I mean a long good debate was recently shut down about Islam and the west.
