Canadian got called for passivity in the 1st half (1 point penalty). When the other guy has a 3-0 lead in the 2nd half, he was passive the entire half and never got called for it. International commentators thought it was BS.

Watched that with no sound in the gym. You'd be surprised how motivating a Mongolian coach tearing off his clothes and going full hulk mode is.

here it is.

The Mongolian guy had a 1 point lead and was running away (like he did against the Canadian). He celebrated with seconds to go and the ref penalized him 1 point which ties the match. The first tiebreaker is most holds and the Uzbeck won

Plus the Mongolian tied (and would have therefore won) it on a fairly 50/50 judgement then he ran, the penalty/point given and hilarity ensued.

How could anyone call an Olympian a loser? Saying someone lost and calling them a "loser" are completely different things.

Most Olympians lost their events, none of them are "losers". (well maybe Lochte)

Soccer with your hands seems waaaaaaay more normal than skating on ice and using sticks to try and hit a piece of rubber into a net.

Handball is so fun.

22 total medals for Canada ties the Atlanta Games for the country's best performance in a non-boycotted Olympics. 4 gold medals is Canada's second highest gold total in a non-boycotted Games, behind the 7 from Barcelona.

Penny Oleksiak (4), Andre De Grasse (3), Meaghan Benfeito (2), and Taylor Ruck (2) all bring home multiple medals for Canada.

Oleksiak and Ruck became the first athletes born in the 2000s to get an Olympic medal when they won the bronze in the relay on the first day of competition. Oleksiak became the first athlete born in the 2000s to win an individual Olympic Gold medal when she won the 100m Freestyle on August 11.

Canada earned a medal on 13 of the 16 days of medal competition. Thursday, August 18 was Canada's best day in Rio, winning 1 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals.

In total, Canada sent 314 athletes to Rio. When you account for all the relay and team medals (especially Women's Rugby and Soccer), 62 Canadians are coming home with at least one Olympic medal (19.75%).

Wow this gold medal game basketball between the US and Serbia is a joke. US is killing them and I don't even think they are putting a 100% effort. This is just like watching the Harlem Globetrotters against a Canadian high school team. Olympics should go back to amateurs only on basketball so it is fair to the other team in the world. Nice to see he NBA all star playing but most of the games the other teams gets blown out so game become boring.
