Round 3 of the Women's Golf Tournament begins at 4:30. Alena Sharp will tee off at 6:14. Brooke Henderson, sitting at 8 under, will tee off at 7:58.

The 50km Men's Race Walk begins at 5:00. Mathieu Bilodeau and Evan Dunfee compete for Canada.

At 5:30 the semifinals of the Men's Singles Badminton begin!

At 6:00 Mark De Jonge, 2012 Bronze Medalist, competes in Heat 1 of the Men's Kayak Single 200m.

The heats for the Women's Kayak Four 500m begin at 6:37. Canada races in Heat 2.

At 9:00 the Swimming Competition begins in the Women's Modern Pentathlon competition. Donna Vakalis and Melanie McCann compete for Canada.

The Gold Medal Match in the Women's Singles Badminton Tournament is scheduled for 7:25.

Scheduled for 9:00 Melissa Pagnotta has her first match in the Women's 67kg Taekwondo

CANWNT faces Brazil in the Bronze Medal Match in soccer at 10:00. Trying to match the same achievement from 2012 in what will probably be a pretty high pressure environment playing the host country.

At 10:30 the semifinals begin for the BMX, Women's first followed immediately by the Men. Tory Nyhaug races for Canada in Heat 2 of the Men's semifinal.

The Fencing Bonus Round in the Women's Modern Pentathlon begins at 11:00.

The Women's Final for BMX begins at 12:00, the Men's is immediately after.

Also at 12:30 the Riding Competition in the Women's Modern Pentathlon begins.

The Preliminary Round of the Men's 10m Platform Diving begins at 13:00. Maxim Bouchard and Vincent Riendeau compete for Canada.

The Final for the Women's Soccer begins at 14:30 with Sweden and Germany facing each other.

At 15:00 the Combined Event in the Women's Modern Pentathlon begins.

At 16:00 Australia plays Serbia in the Men's Basketball semifinal.

The Women's Pole Vault Final begins at 17:30. Kelsie Ahbe competes for Canada.

At 17:40 the Qualifying for the Women's 4x400m Relay begins. Canada will run in Heat 2.

At 19:15 the Women's 4x100m Relay takes place. Canada will be in Lane 2.

At 19:35 the Men's 4x100m relay begins. Canada will be running in Lane 7. As I mentioned in yesterday's write up, this is an event that Canada has had success in, but there have also been some heartbreaking disqualifications.

Go Canada Go!!!

Given the opponent and Brazil's penchant for theatrics, I think we can safely assume similar quality officiating to the 2012 soccer semi-final.

I think I get more stressed out for the ladies soccer medal games and the Womens National hockey games than i do the men.

I think the explanation is that I saw members of the national women's team doing summer classes at the U of C in the late 90s and realized they were just regular students, stretching their dollars and coins as much as the rest of us did. Their passion is different than with some pro athletes. Plus I really, really relate to people who hate to lose and enjoy winning so count me as a big fan of Sinclair, Tancredi, Chapman etc

Evan Dunfree second after 30k in the 50km race walk. He's pulling away from the pack too.

He's pulled into first! The French guy is having big time cramping or chafing issues.

Diniz collapsed! Got back up and is going again. He paused his watch mid collapse like a true competitor. This is awesome.
