Flames bringing in Jamie Devane on PTO
James Mirtle @mirtle 8m8 minutes ago
Flames are bringing in Jamie Devane on a PTO. There's a Brian Burke connection there given he was a Leafs pick.
stats:

looks like more of a Stockton move than a NHL move

Big. Left-shot. Physical. Not much offensive punch to speak of. Likely AHL depth guy.

194 pro hockey games. 27 points, 380 penalty minutes. So yeah, Burke player indeed.

He's basically an older Hunter Smith. Maybe they're bringing Devane in to be sort of a mentor for Smith, to show him how much better he'll need to be to make the NHL.

Those are terrible AHL numbers. I would rather keep an Agostino or something over this guy.
I guess they need a face puncher in Stockton??

Always good to have a face puncher in the lineup. This guy tko'd Daniel Maggio, the guy who knocked out McGrattan. Colton Orr replacement for the farm most likely.

Lundmark the person I'm sure is awesome. Lundmark the tweener injury call-up was adequate. Lundmark the #1 centre for Iginla playing Brent Sutter hockey was an eldritch horror.

Just a heavyweight for stockton. I'm guessing colton orr has moved on so they wanted a replacement.
