Ethiopian girl just smashed the 10000m world record that had stood for 23 years (by a doped up Chinese girl) by 14 seconds. 29 minutes 17 seconds.
- No one ran under 30 minutes in last 7 years
- 4 girls ran under 30 minutes in this race

in the heptathlon high jump, the dutch girl Visser who was in 3rd only cleared 1.68m so she'll fall way way back.
The rest have just cleared 1.77m. Jones the girl in 2nd made it on her 3rd try.

There's a Belgian girl who hasn't even started yet. Passed on everything so far!
so that i don't have to type names. There's GB, Barbados, American, Canadian, German, Belgian and Dutch (who's failed)
