Trump just incited people to contemplate assassinating Clinton to stop her from appointing supreme court justices. Yup.
I'd love to be able to just laugh about this, but there are way too many people who are taking this election, and the last few elections, way too passionately to find this anything but dangerous.

Wil Wheaton Verified account @wilw So does the Secret Service send, like, special agents to talk to Trump? Or do the ones already there have a chat with him?
If you support either Clinton or Trump for president, you are under the illusion that it makes sense to hire a 70-year old (approximately) for the most important job in the land – and one that could last eight years. That would be absurd in any other hiring context. But you are brainwashed to believe it is perfectly fine in this case. It isn’t.
Likewise, if you think either Clinton or Trump have good policy ideas, that is evidence that you are brainwashed. As a civilian, you have no idea which policies are better for the economy, or trade agreements, or immigration, or for battling ISIS. But you think you do because you have been brainwashed into believing that voters can know that sort of thing. They can’t. The candidates don’t know either.
"And in that imaginary future, Donald Trump is incinerating the world with nuclear fire because he can’t take advice, or he’s a narcissist, or he’s unstable, or he’s Hitler Version 2.0."
You guys remember that time when Trump's handlers muzzled him for almost a whole 72 hours? Boy those were the good old days.
The rewarded him for delivering his scripted speech yesterday with little error, by giving him back his phone and taking the muzzle off. One day later....

I haven't watched the Trump assassination video yet. Or seen a transcript. But I will be shortly.
How surprised will I be - based on the triggered hyperbole endemic to this thread - if he doesn't actually talk about assassination. Instead he makes some other statement, which is interpreted or manipulated?

He doesn't. Here is the quote.

As stated, that can only reasonably be interpreted as either "if she wins, you guys who like guns should shoot her", or "if she wins, you guys who think you need guns as a check on government power should overthrow her".

I gotcha. We already heard you. Nuance and context are irrelevant.
Skip watching then. He doesn't say "assassination". He simply said that when Hillary is president the second amendment folks might do something. Nothing serious if your viewing everything in a sterile bubble
