Wow. Not sure why these refs thought Carter fumbled that. Honestly that was clearly the ground making the fumble before they even showed the replay.

Als are on 4 days rest, and they look like they're an NFL team beating on a high school team. What a mess.

Yep I agree. A few weeks ago, I actually called Drew Willy the worst starting QB in the CFL. He is just a little better than Massoli but Massoli is only starting because of Collaros injury. If Nichols can play consistently well, I doubt Willy will see any action at all this season. Knock on Nichols is his consistency and always injured.

Hank a little off with his throws or maybe he thinks he plays for Toronto.

Keon Raymond with an outstanding play to breakup a TD. He came from a long distance to make the hit

He's not suited for the scheme so no wonder he has been ineffective. He's more of a 4-3 defensive lineman. He"ll be the next salary cap dump.

I'm told the Alouettes have been shopping around Vaughn Martin to several teams but so far, they haven't found any takers. @CFL

Stamps deploy a 4-3 scheme. The salary is probably the sticking point.

I like Micah Johnson but he just seems like it'll be any game where he's done for the year.

Davis-Martin-Turner-Hughes with Beltre, Johnson, Wiggins, Smith as backups look good.

Riders not adhering to the ratio...

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have received a call from the CFL for violating the league's National/International ratio on a play during a recent game, TSN Senior Correspondent Gary Lawless reports.

Riders unable to count. Shocking.

In related news -- Montreal releases Canadian QB Brandon Bridge. Technically not ratio related (since QB's are exempt) but interesting considering the hype out of college. Was thought of as a project at the NFL level, but couldn't stick and now cut by a CFL team. Not good.

Only remaining Canadian QB on a CFL roster (I think) is our own Andrew Buckley.

I was actually just talking to someone the other day about how insanely hard it must be to manage the ratios and how surprised I am that it doesn't happen more often. Or maybe it happens all the time and we don't hear about it.

You have so many guys on the roster. A national gets hurt, out for 3 plays. He gets replaced by an international. Now for 3 plays a national has to sub in for a different international. But different schemes may have different players who have different status. So you may want to run a scheme for a throwing down but your ratios are all out of wack because some guy has to sit out three plays.

Other teams don't seem to have a problem with it.

Jim Popp has completely mismanaged the Als' cap and now they are paying for it.

I have always thought he would make a good WR in the CFL as he's a good athlete.
