Celebrated Square Root Day

I'm enjoying all these "the Oilers will get this D-man and then we'll be a contender" candidates signing contracts lately.
By September Oilers fans will come to the slow realization that what everyone in the hockey world has been telling them is true - You can't just pick up or even trade good forwards for top pairing defenseman. Even strong top four defensemen are hard to add.

Helluva 3rd round pick. Pretty comprable to Hamilton's deal. Worthy debate as to who the better player is of the two. But one thing that's undeniable is that with Hamiltons size, he has the physical tools to be the better player.

Is Ryan Strome on the 'outs' with the NYI?...I recall here being some rumours or rumblings there last season.

I'm easily taking Hamilton. Same offensive skills, but much bigger, and has a much higher ceiling.

what a team the 2008-09 Kelowna Rockets were....
Benn, Backlund, Myers, Barrie all top line NHL players.
McMillan got 179 NHL games in and
Cody Almond (who outscored Backlund in their playoff run) pushed in for 18 NHL games.

"So this is your best offer huh? Say, who is that lurking out in the waiting area?"
- That is Peter Chiarelli and if you dont sign this contract right now I'm letting him in this room. Okay, whoa! Wait! Stop! It doesnt have to be in your own blood!
"I want to be sure!"
