That's right. TSN, the league and the Riders say this was discussed several months ago.

Arash Madani and Alpine both think is currently happening.

The only discrepancy is that the Riders say the league told them no and the league says it was the Riders' decision. Either way, all parties involved say it was as simple as the Riders interviewing Hardy (at his request) and calling the league to inquire about his status.

That's it. There is no story here and that's why no one cared back in May.

I'm not mad at all, it just shows what a scummy organization the Riders are, but everyone not in Saskatchewan who follows the CFL already knew that.

The ref who threw that "roughing the passer" penalty on Howard should be kicked out of the league. That was a textbook hit. Thankfully they overturned it on the challenge.

Besides, if a QB gets earholed because he is not paying attention he deserves it. Way too much emphasis on protecting QBs.

As I said before the Winnipeg offense line improved once the pylon (Neufeld) got hurt last week.

Mike Benevides defense is horrid. Might be one of the worst I've ever seen.

I fully expect Thorpe to blitz early and often tonight, as Saskatchewans offense line is decimated with injuries. 4 of the 5 projected starters are on the 6 game injury list (20 in total on the 6 game injury list, 14-16 are legit injuries).

In the place of the 4 projected starters, 3 raw rookies will be starting in there places. The 6th dressing was behind a desk working just a few weeks ago.
