Kind of like when we had McElhinney a few years ago and the team could barely score a goal to save their lives because they were so terrified of giving up scoring chances.
I think looking at goals scored for could be an interesting stat when looking at goalies. If a team feels more comfortable opening up with a particular goalie in net, it can make their numbers look worse on paper, but it doesn't tell the whole story.

Sounds like he is meeting with the media today so likely some flames content. I suspect we get a Treliving interview and no doubt the Gaudreau-Monahan talks will be brought up

- "Around the League" consensus is Flames "won the draft;" excited to be part of the reason for that
- "Every goalie wants to be wanted/needed" and is honored that Calgary wanted him
- Excited about the young talent, and thinks we're only going to get better from now on ("we can only go up")
- Wants to be the rock "back there" that can be counted on so everyone else can be free to do what they do
I think it's safe to say he's pretty excited. I think it's also safe to say I'm probably just as excited (if not more!).

Thanks for this. I must admit I am a big fan of Elliot and I too am ridiculously excited about this move.
