I always thought he'd be the VP pick. Smart and a great speaker.

I'm sort of lost for words as to how you get to that point, so an example probably does it better This has been put a variety of ways, but to sum up Bernie supporters and your thought of "If I were American I'd vote for Trump"...
You go to a bar. You want Budweiser, badly. But the bar is out of Budweiser. The bar does, however, have Bud Light. Yeah it's not as good and you have to drink 4 extra beers just to get as drunk, but it's pretty close. You, however, decide that you'd rather drink bleach instead. Sort of extreme and over the top, and totally not understandable....but at least you made your point? Whatever it was?
I'm not trying to hound you, I'm just trying to understand if you're a real progressive, or if you're an anarchist.

I'm not saying they dont agree on most things, not at all. I just find her as a politician to be so repulsive
But the thing about that is, as this convention goes on, it's hard to ignore what people I do respect, like Al Franken and Bernie (especially) are saying. I'm glad I don't have to vote because this would be a very tough call for me. So far tho the DNC has been good. Has me feeling less ill about Hillary.

That was the best speech so far of both conventions and I have a tough time seeing anyone top it. Remarkable stuff.

Agreed. Read that working against him was Wall Street ties and the fact that Christie would have replaced him with a Republican.

He and Warren were basically disqualified from the start. Another example of why you gotta win more than just the White House or Senate to get the things you want.

I just don't understand your position at all. I think Bernie made the best argument

It's hard to explain, and, have others understand an emotional argument. I don't like Hillary, I think she's a crook and represents the worst of American politics. That's an emotional response. I own that.

I know it's early, but the differences between the 2 conventions so far is just startling.
No screaming, no yelling for someone to go to jail. What a breath of fresh air.

Michelle Obama is so damn incredible. I don't know how long it'll be before we have another First Lady as amazing as she is, but god, I love her.
I would vote for her in a heartbeat over pretty much anyone.

Yeah, the crook usually tries to play it cool so that people forget that it's a big deal. Nothing there.
