This is a guy who boasts about being a big time billionaire and puts his name on every building he can, and he is slamming big business?
Next thing you know he will tell us he is a small business owner.

This entire Trump speech is just unfounded fear-mongering and empty strong-man bluster.

Did someone just disrupt the speech and get kicked out? Sounded like it.

Yeah, code pink protester. The news here cut to her for most of his next bit of speech, I'm sure he'll be upset about that.

Good grief, there's so much speech left.
How is he going to maintain his level of attention all the way through? Or the rest of us for that matter? This isn't the WWE spectacle I have come to expect.

This speech is probably reminding him how much he doesn't actually want to be President. Doing this all the time will bore him to death.

He is certainly sounding much more presidential tonight than ever before. Obviously he had to become a politician sooner or later if he wanted to seriously take on the Democratic establishment.

If you are the presidential nominee do you have to release your tax returns?

Yeah... they really needed to edit this down by a lot. He's not even halfway through. I'm losing interest, and I have a pretty solid attention span for political speeches.

Still waiting on a single specific from Don. Things are bad, he'll make them good, and the world is terrifying.

Not required, just something every nominee has done for a while now. Trump obviously may not want people to see he paid little to no tax, as is the belief.

I like how he mentions the policies he's going to detail and then doesn't detail any policies

Focusing on crime so much is a pretty bizarre choice for Trump. It's probably not even close to a top 5 issue for most Americans. It is something he can be a total strongman about though.

He's not focusing on crime. He's getting to other stuff. The speech is just ridiculously long, given how he's delivering it and how often he's pausing for applause.
Hahaha "shortly thereafter" - add to the list of non-Trumpisms.

Details to him are things like build a wall, get some stuff done, make the country safe and be great for veterans.
He's never gone into any details yet and he probably won't the rest of the way.
