I couldn't watch it for long. It's not completely fawning coverage but it's just so obviously badly done. I'm sure the primetime would be closer to watchable but even still.

Obama is not a good friend to this country economically. besides his string of lies about Keystone and then trying to Push Canada out of the way on global energy experts. He was incredibly protectionist in his policies when it came to Canadian goods.
Hillary is no difference she's already talked about not liking Nafta and wanting to reopen it.
She'll up the protectionist policies because her corporate masters will pay her to do it.

This might all be true cap'n...but I will take Hillary over Trump 11 out of 10 times.
That bombastic narcissist having his finger on the button scares the bejeezuz out of me....and that alone is enough to make me not want to see him anywhere near 1600 Pennsylvania.

Yeah, they're giving this story a lot more media legs than it would have if they did a mea culpa on it. The story itself shouldn't be a big issue, but now the story is quickly becoming their unwillingness to admit any wrongdoing here in the face of irrefutable evidence, which is a 'narrative-fitting' news story.

The Supreme Court is the most important aspect of this election. Which is why it's important Hillary wins.
There is also talk of finally getting single payer in the system if the Senate and House go blue.

So I really hope we see Trump rip lines from Bill Pullman's ID4 speech on Thursday. That would be in the conversation for the all-time greatest troll.

Not surprising seeing Chris Christie and his campaign manager go with whatever Trump tells them to. Christie is just kind of a big mini-me for Trump. I don't think the rest of the GOP, including most that have stayed away from the convention, are falling in line at all.

Trump's protectionism would be bad for Canada as a whole. But would Trump be bad for Alberta? Would he be worse than the protectionism and tactics of Wynne, Clark or Quebec when it comes to Alberta's interests?
As a Canadian I hate even asking the question, but as an Albertan I think i've had it with other provinces looking to spend their way out of trouble on Alberta's back.

Obama's stance on Keystone was a nightmare for Alberta.

It's not even just that, it's that they choose spectacularly bad excuses to try and get out of it. If a 4 year old tried to pull this you'd laugh at them. The level of delusion is absolutely in cult territory now.

Ahh, the Twilight Sparkle deflection. Interesting strategy. I'd have thought maybe they would go with The Care Bare Staredown, but the My Little Pony method might work for them. Being Donkeys and all.

Either way she lied about writing the speech, or copying Obama.
Lying Crooked Melania.

Uhhh...what? Say what you will about Clark (everyone knows I'm definitely not a fan of hers), but BC has possibly the strongest economy in the country and isn't spending any of Alberta's money at the moment.

until it comes to a pipeline which she wants to scoop BC's "fair share" of Alberta resource revenue - under the guise of the environment of course. Nothing protectionist about that.

Haha, absolutely. You guys don't see it down there, but Obama's been absolutey horrible for Canada, and Hillary will be backed by the exact same protectionist Oil interests.
I know it it doesn't get mentioned amongst Americans at all, but American Oil interests are actually behind most of America's "climate change" plans, and are actively trying to block Canadian Oil to keep their Oil flowing smoothly during trying times in the Oil industry as it's a significant part of the US economy.
That probably sounds like conspiracy theory to an American hearing it for the first time (I know wittynickname also mentioned Hilary and getting serious about climate change) but outside the States, the US's Oil control throughtout the world is very clear, and the Democrats are heavily funded in this area.
They aren't serious about climate change at all, they're just serious about sounding serious about it, because if you've noticed saying "we need to start caring about the ENVIRONMENT!!" gets the biggest cheers at a liberal rally.
