Close between Fox or Phillips. Went Fox as I think he is much more of a sure bet.

Why would anyone have Pribyl over Kulak? Was that German Wolf guy anything good? Or Cervenka for that matter?

Yes. McDonald has never impressed me at any point, either with his stats or his viewings.
I haven't seen Parsons as much with my eyes, but I like what I read about him. Highly athletic and quick, determination and strong mental makeup, excellent post-season after a strong regular season.
McDonald has been largely disappointing, and I think it was a missed pick by the Flames. I don't see any NHL potential in him.

Are you implying that Cervenka, the "German Wolf guy" and Pribyl are the same person?
That's like saying why pick Kulak when he is the same person as John Ramage and Eric Roy.

Interesting. How many viewings of McDonald have you had out of curiosity?

6 or 7. Some were on a very big stage which amplified my impression from those games. Good goaltenders rise to the challenge, bad ones falter under pressure.

I don't think he's played enough at the NHL level yet, but just have a feeling that once he gets his bearings a bit more he'll be quite effective physically. I still see him as a potential #4. Again, just a hunch.

I could see Wotherspoon being the Dennis Seidenberg to Dougie Hamilton's Dougie Hamilton.

Still a lot or prospects with NHL upside - even really good NHL upside.
Pribyl again because he seems to be a higher ceiling guy from what I have been able to gather.
I don't pay attention much to "NHL ready" - I love Hathaway, and I think he will be a player in the league as soon as this season, but he will still be low on my list.
I have Kulak next, and then probably Wotherspoon following - though it seems one or both will be gone by the time my vote will count.

What if the Blackhawks had thought like that about Panarin?
Besides, Cervenka was terribly handled by the Flames. Even without a training camp and playing for a bad team he managed to put up points at pace that would have been 35 point full season. He was far from terrible.

I took Morrison. Considered Kulak and Wotherspoon. But picked the blueliner that isn't noticed which i think is good right?

Whereas guys like Culkin, Wotherspoon, AOM, Fox, and Kulak were drafted by our excellent amateur scouting staff because they can think the game, Morrison was a UFA signing for a reason. He has a lot of nice tools (skating, hard shot, shoots right) but his hockey sense is Justin Schultz-esque.

wotherspoon has good size (6'2") but isn't any of those other things. Plays a safe positional game.
