Decent landing spot if he can stick with the big club. Good on him.

Hopefully he makes more than league min so he doesn't have to live in a shoe box. Or Jersey.

Good for him. Didn't see a spot for him on our roster going forward anyways. Plus players like Jooris are a dime a dozen

:/
Would take him on the 4th line over at least 3 regulars on this club

Good spot for him, and yeah its too bad last year didn't work out as well as the year before it.
And hey, at least he didn't sign with the Canucks.

really glad he didn't end up in Vancouver. I like Jooris and his path to the NHL was interesting to see. Best of luck!!!

I have a soft spot for Jooris. I hope he does well in NYC. Could be a helluva lot worse places to play.

I am glad to see him find a spot. Always liked him as a player.
It is also nice from the Flames perspective that we are at a point where the players we are letting walk are good enough to be play on other teams. We are not the bottom of the barrel anymore!

Hopefully that fire is stoked again on a new team. Was a spark plug his first year, but last season was ugly. When he got himself a spot in the lineup and time to play he'd shoot himself in the foot with bad penalty after bad penalty.

Johnny should buy Iggy's old mansion when he gets his Tarasenko contract.

To be fair, the whole team was in a funk in the first half of last year, and played out of their minds the previous year when they made playoffs.

Good for him as it's a pretty great market to play in. Hopefully last season was a wake up call for him as he's a guy that needs to be going 100% all the time to be an effective player. He's a good skater and if teams are trying to copy the Penguins formula there may be a place in the NHL for a guy like Jooris but he has to work hard and play smart.

I certainly wouldn't call him terrible.
Personally I liked his style of play. Reminded me a lot of Tyler Kennedy.
