Could be interesting to see a legitimate third party candidate in the running. Of course, this would likely split the Democratic vote and lead to the orange cretin in the White House.
There already is a legitimate and credible third party ticket right now with Johnson and the Libertarians. It would be interesting to see an election with the two majors, the Libertarians and a second left wing party (socialist/green/whatever.)
Matthew 5 (the Beatitudes) stands as a very clear Christian contradiction to the entirety of Trump, but maybe poses a good answer to Trumpism.
I didn't think you supported him..who does in Canada? I just thought there was some sort of crazy new testament Matthew verse you were matching up with him.
To me Trump is the phoniest christian of all time.

I passed a Trump bumper sticker on my way to work here in Kamloops today
In the 40+ verses of Matthew I highly doubt anything that resembles Drumpfs policy's exist. Drumpf believes in himself, nothing else exists.
The parable of the bags of gold (Matthew 25) is pretty much Trump's economic and education policies summed up with more perfection than any piece of journalism I've ever seen.
Rumblings that the GOP will formally endorse building a wall across the entire southern border as part of the platform. Likely with no idea how to pay for it.
This despite declining numbers of illegal immigrants (slowly declining but declining) since 2007.

The best part of that is how it ends with "weeping and gnashing of teeth". That definitely suits a potential Trump presidency.

Bernie will apparently finally endorse Hillary today. I actually think he did better than I thought as far as getting some concessions to the Dem platform. I thought he overplayed his hand in this case, but maybe he really did actually push Hillary to left instead of her doing this for political convenience. I don't see much of a bump here though, his supporters actually came to her faster than her supporters did for Obama, which should underscore this race wasn't that bad and that 2008 race is undersold on how testy and harsh it was.

Not sure I like how this looks optically with Hillary standing behind him but the endorsement was well done.
